From the Retard.

Wes Foderingham - The failure of his midfield to show left the keeper to knock it long to a five foot nine inch centre forward competing against two six foot plus defenders. Badly let down by his defence too, he was left with nowhere to hide. 5

James Tavernier - He couldn’t get onto his front foot in the first half as Rangers were swamped in central areas, forcing him to defend for his life. He was under siege, ultimately drowned in wave after wave of Celtic possession but at least he didn't hide. 5

Ross McCrorie - This was a wretched day for the young defender, who was taken to school by Dembele. His tug at the Frenchman that led to his dismissal was the last desperate act of a player who had been bullied and tormented throughout. 2

Russell Martin - The only thing to say about the performance of Rangers to the 38th minute was they were only a goal down. Then the veteran, who had been riddled with nerves, made that awful howler. A new deal? Rangers better hope they still have his return train ticket to Norwich. 3

Declan John - Like Tavernier on the other side, the lack of bravery in the central midfield areas for Rangers forced him further and further back and he spent the game defending from the fringes of his own box, with increasing anxiety. Lacked conviction going forward and little wonder. 3

Greg Docherty - He looked cowed and anxious and a yard off the pace as he struggled to lay a glove on Celtic in the middle of the park. He rarely commanded possession and in the few instances he was given it, his distribution was one dimensional and lacked penetration. 3

Andy Halliday - The kindest thing to say about Halliday’s performance is that he could have been any one of three central midfielders hooked five minutes before the break. Leaden footed and lacking any sort of cutting edge he was outclassed and out of his depth. 2

Graham Dorrans - His absolute failure to show at the base of the midfield cost Rangers any chance they might have enjoyed to build possession. Frightened to grasp the initiative the occasion quickly grew too much for him. He let Rogic go for the opener and it took him until 34 minutes to win his first 50-50. 3

Daniel Candeias - In the 28th minute he looked to switch passes with Tavernier on the wing, moved right while the ball went left. It summed up his abject performance. Skinned by Tierney at the second, his passing and distribution was woeful. 3

Alfredo Morelos - Really, his team-mates gave him no chance as he was so isolated in that first half he could have gone and played fives at Toryglen. However, his second half finishing again was awful and long before the end he looked a shell, more focused on a feud with Brown. 3

Jamie Murphy - He showed one or two flashes in the first half amidst the dreadful capitulation of his team-mates, but Rangers needed more from him wide left as he failed to relieve any sort of pressure by taking the game to the Celtic defence. Not the worst, but still far from acceptable. 4

SUBS

Bruno Alves - He was given an impossible task of preventing humiliation. He at least added a physicality Rangers lacked, but far too late to make a meaningful impact. 4

Jason Holt - He can ask why he didn’t start as his energy might have have helped in midfield, but concession of penalty only added to his woes. 2

Josh Windass - He was given impossible task with team two down after 40 minutes. Another peripheral performances on the big occasion. 2
