Summer signing Youssouf Mulumbu is set to leave Celtic this month, reports Craig Swan in Dubai.

The 31-year-old has managed just three appearances and 155 minutes of action since making a shock move to Parkhead on a two-year deal.

Mulumbu is well down the Hoops pecking order and boss Brendan Rodgers will let him go out on loan to find game-time with his chances of featuring for Celtic limited in the second half of the campaign.

Rodgers said: “Youssouf is at the age where he needs to play, really.

“He came in as a support player to the team, but he’s at the age really where he needs to play in the next part of the season, so he’ll probably go out on loan.”

Rodgers has also confirmed youngsters Lewis Morgan and Jack Hendry could also set to be go on a temporary basis.

The duo will be sent out to gain experience with opportunities also set to be in short supply.

However, while Mulumbu’s long-term chances of making an impact at Celtic look a long shot, Rodgers says the likes of...

Brendan Rodgers aims to bolster his Celtic squad further this month after predicting a "tight" Scottish Premiership title race.

Celtic top the table on goal difference from Rangers, with Kilmarnock one point back and Aberdeen two more behind.

They have already recruited Oliver Burke, Timothy Weah and Vakoun Issouf Bayo this month.

"We will look to do more business, January is important for us," Rodgers told BBC Scotland.

"It's not just trying to improve the squad for now but also for whatever summer qualification games we have.

Rangers have signed experienced English Premier League duo Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis, with Rodgers revealing he tried to sign the Northern Ireland captain during his time in charge of Swansea City.

However, when asked about the Ibrox club's transfer activity, he said he was "not one for looking over the fence" and was focused on trying "to look after my own garden".

To that end, as well as signing players, there have been suggestions of...

Champions League Games Could Be Coming To Weekends

There's talk of monumental changes to the Champions League in the near future - with games potentially being played on the weekends instead of midweek.
Elliot Richardson, who is the Chairman of Dugout, tweeted to say that he has heard from "very good sources" that UCL games will indeed be moving in a bid to maximise the Asian and US audiences interested in the European football's premier club competition.

Of course, it would also majorly mess up the schedule in domestic leagues across Europe but it's said that domestic games would shift to mid-week to accommodate Champions League action.

We currently have the final on a weekend ay at the end of the Champions League campaign but having all the games played on Saturdays and Sunday just feels plain wrong and it feels like a wholly unnecessary change.

Since 2003/04 there have been eight groups of four teams in the Champions League - with the top two progressing to the round of 16 after six games. Matches have been played on...

Celtic Football Club statement

Celtic Football Club is surprised that there will be no disciplinary action taken by the Scottish FA regarding the incidents during the match on December 29, which have been widely addressed in the media.

It is reported that no action was taken because the match referee saw all of the incidents in question.

Given that the referee took no action at the time, this tends to suggest that such conduct, which in one instance led to a Celtic player, Anthony Ralston, being injured, is acceptable in Scottish football. That cannot be right.

On the day, Celtic did not play well enough to win the match, something we accept. However, this issue goes beyond the result of the match.

Celtic is not the only club this season to raise concerns regarding the standard of officiating at matches in Scotland, concerns which have also been shared by many commentators on the game.

In order to fully understand what is going on, Celtic, our supporters, Scottish clubs and the general Scottish football...

A right back - please please please.
Lustig is done physically and mentally. He has not only cost us so many goals this season but he seems mentally shot. You know on receiving the ball 9/10 these days he is just going to return to where it came from, which unfortunately is often Boyatta. Between the two of them the whole right side is so easy to press as neither of them handle it very well.

Centre back - I would prefer Boyatta sold now, as opposed to leaving in the Summer when Benkovich goes back to Leicester. Spend the cash on Benkovich's replacement, have him playing with Filip for the rest of the season, while giving AJer opportunities to get some game time. Then in the summer we are not in a position of having both first choice CBs dissapearing leaving us with Ajer and Compper (hopefully gone), Hendry (hopefully gone) and Jozo (hopefully gone)

Forwards - someone who can hit the ground running. It's right we make excuses for our teenage first...

Hi all

2018 is coming to an end and we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a happy New year for 2019

It's been a great year for tictalk and the community continues to grow , we currently have 1400 members which is something special, so much so that we have made the forum invite only.

We continue to invest in our hardware, servers , resources and software licenses and i think that it shows with our match day threads and numbers we have visiting. Also we have the @frajja apk which I believe is a huge success

On that note I have decided that for the start of 2019 we will have a new usergroup that will access the gallowgate forums , similar to last year it will be called gallowgate 2019 instead of gallowgate 2018
After the game tomorrow I'll port users over who have recently signed up or have been regular contributers to the forum.

If you find yourself without access to the gallowgate you can upgrade your account...

The King is dead long live the King!

CELTIC are delighted to announce that Karamoko Dembele has signed his first full-time professional contract with the club, in a deal that sees him remain at Paradise until at least 2021.

Dembele joined the Hoops in 2013, aged 10-years-old, and made his Under-20s' debut against Hearts in October 2016 – coming off the bench for a side then seven years above his age group.

Speaking to the official Celtic website, Dembele said: “It means a lot to me to start my professional career at Celtic. I came here at a young age, and, after all the stuff me and family have been through together, it’ll be good to make them proud."

When asked how he sees...

This is against the rules here and I have received some messages about the files being shared. Once again it's been fucked up for everyone and the files removed
Should I just delete the resources section all together?.
We can't have this happening and as soon as I find out who's sharing they will be perma gone from here
Keep it up and I'll just take it all away . Fucked if I'm getting shafted for trying to do a good turn for you guys
