Kieran Tierney has shrugged off the attention from the big guns down south as he’s only targeting firing Celtic to the double treble.

The Hoops star is being watched by a raft of top sides in the English Premier League with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho topping the list of admirers.

Old Trafford scouts have set up camp at Parkhead this season to keep tabs on the 20-year-old and were in the Hampden stands as Brendan Rodgers’s men hammered Rangers on Sunday but Tierney has constantly insisted his heart is set on home.

The Scotland ace penned a bumper new six-year deal earlier in the season and is determined to keep racking up the silverware.

And speaking exclusively to the matchday programme for this weekend’s game against Ross County, Sinclair was keen to set the record straight and reassure the Hoops faithful his full focus is on hitting top gear again and finishing the season with a flourish.

“It was just speculation and maybe because I didn’t play...

Nothing compares to the raw and rugged brilliance of Scottish football
It may be unfashionable but Scottish football has a beauty you won’t find at PSG or on Barcelona’s tourist-filled stands

In 1992, when I was a thrusting young(ish) reporter on the Scotsman, my then girlfriend (and now wife) and I went on holiday to the west coast of the United States. We were walking down the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, California, when we came across an international newspaper stand – a relic of the pre-internet age that offered ye olde worlde travellers a link back to the homeland, albeit with the immediacy we would all associate with Kris Commons...

Celtic Chris Sutton - Rodgers produced a tactical masterclass
As near as Sutton will ever come to eating his words. Remember that on Thursday he was slagging Brendan for not starting Musonda.
Brendan Rodgers was asked serious questions. Perhaps for the first time in his Celtic reign.
His response was to produce a managerial masterclass.
In recent weeks, it’s been hinted he has lost the Midas touch, that not everything he touches turns to gold.
But Rodgers did not put a foot wrong against Zenit St Petersburg – before or during the game with the Russians.
In this column a week ago I said it was a big night for the manager. There had to signs of...
